A series of videos that introduce the team of physicians at the University of Minnesota’s Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant Program, an internationally respected pioneer in the field. These 12 videos are the beginning of a YouTube Channel strategy that may include several more videos aimed at increasing the awareness for the program.
By interviewing the parents of children who had gone through transplant at the U of M, we learned that the main reason families choose to treat their child at the U of M was the incredible team of doctors and nurses there, and the new, cutting-edge treatments that they are tirelessly developing to help cure rare, previously incurable diseases like Hurler Syndrome and Fanconi Anemia. When the parents first meet with the physicians and see first-hand how passionate and dedicated they are, they immediately know that this is the team that will treat their sick child. These videos serve as a virtual first meeting, where the parents of newly diagnosed children can get a sense of the passion of the team and the individual personalities of each physician, prior to traveling to Minnesota.
